Physical Science Lesson 6
Before Class Assignments: New Chapter: Read Sections 4.1 thru 4.3. Be sure to do the concept checks. If you don’t understand them, be sure to post. Do next time questions #1 and #2 of Ch 4 Optional: Watch Video for Chapter 4.1 "Forces and interaction"
During Live Class: Have questions ready for Class over chapter 4. Have Work book pages handy, we will do more.
After Class there are the following assignments: Study for Chapter 3 test if you have not taken it yet. Do Ch Review Questions 1-8, Go over key with parent. Post on those you don’t understand the answer to. In the PSP, do the WHOLE Section 4.2 Inter active Tutorial: "Newton's Third Law" Please route me your quiz at the end if it gives you that option. Optional Go to the PSP. Select Chapter 4 from the top drop down menu. Then Choose "videos" from the side bar menu. There are three short videos to view: Forces & Interaction Action & Reaction on Different Masses Action & Reaction on Rifle & Bullet Do the first half of the Exercises for Chapter 4
Assignments before Next class week 7 Do next time questions for Chapter 4 #3 and # 4, look at these and think about them, I will post the answers for you in class. Read the rest of chapter 4
Test study Recommendations: do a bit every day before due date is the best (in with your other daily work)
Attend your TA’s help session for further help and test prep but be prepared by having done all your work for the chapter! In that way you will get the most out of it.
