Assignments: 1) There will be daily homework to do when there is no live class. (about 45 minutest to an hour on average) 2) Each day’s work may consist of any combination of the following: viewing multimedia files from the text site, reading the text or supplemental articles, posting in the student link, or taking a practice quizzes online, or completing a lab. 3) At a chapter’s end you will have assignments to submit for grading. For the daily work Your parents will have access to the keys, and should go over your work with you or teach you to use the keys. Students post questions over correctness of any answer. Students are expected to study corrections carefully and to use them and the online drills to study for the chapter tests. 4) There will be a chapter test given after every chapter we cover. 5) There are quarterly exams over the material covered in that quarter. These generally help retention and grades as well. 6) Zeroes have BAD EFFECTS on your overall grade average. Obviously you need to finish the course work to avoid this. |
