Assignments: (sample lesson plan here)

1) There is biweekly reading of the chapter, and accessing online supplements when needed.

2) Honors students: Time must be set aside each week to complete virtual labs and lab write-ups

3) Before class students must complete the quiz and submit online for grading. You will get this back before class and it will be gone over in class.

4) Each class will have a graded, closed book quiz due before class begins to encourage completing the above material.

5) There will be a chapter test given after every chapter covered. Previous work should be corrected and studied. All quiz corrections should be studied. Self-checking quizzes help in test and exam study. Late tests and quizzes are docked two points per day past due date.

6) There are four quarterly cumulative exams. You will have “dead” week in which to prepare for them.

  7) Zeroes have BAD EFFECTS on your overall grade average.  Obviously you need to do weekly the course work to avoid this.
